TASK A
Marthe Troly-Curtin once said, “Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.” For some people, this might not sound true.
Older generations believed that working hard and being productive were very important. They thought that being busy was the only way to achieve success. If they were not busy, they felt guilty. This mindset led to jobs being more demanding, longer working hours, and people having less time for themselves.
However, young people today are more aware of mental health and the importance of rest. They understand that taking breaks and enjoying life is just as important as being busy. It does not mean being less successful. In fact, resting allows you to be more creative and productive when you go back to work. There is no working hard without enjoying the time you have. If that means doing nothing, it is perfectly fine. Enjoying life is just as important as working hard.
TASK B
One day, I was walking on the beach with my sister. It was the beginning of summer, a nice day, and the beach was getting busier. We saw a man trying to fly a big kite. He was having trouble getting it in the air. After a few tries, the kite finally started to fly. The man was so happy that he didn’t notice a small dog running towards him.
The dog jumped up and grabbed the kite's tail and wouldn’t let go. The funniest thing I have ever seen was when the dog started taking little flights with the kite, making small jumps oM the ground but still refusing to let go. The dog was having the time of its life. People around us started laughing, and the man was also laughing as he tried to get the kite back from the dog. Finally, the man managed to free the kite, and everyone clapped
and cheered.
